EXL students benefit from evidence-based teaching methodologies delivered by highly experienced instructors and supervised by our on-site Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) / Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA).
Small group placements with low student to teacher ratios allow for individualized programming and support.
We utilize a number of assessment tools and curriculum guides, including the Ontario curriculum, to focus on the mastery of foundational academic and learning skills, while also integrating explicit instruction in social skills, play skills, and more.
3:1 Ratio Placement
Our 3:1 ratio classroom provides students with a small group placement with a ratio of three students to one teacher.
Using the principles of ABA, this program is designed to teach children with a variety of learning needs fundamental academic, learning, and social skills.
This program runs for 10 months from September to June. During the summer months, camp, social skills, and 1:1 ABA programs are offered and encouraged for children enrolled in this program.
3:2 Ratio Placement
Our 3:2 ratio classroom provides students with comprehensive ABA programming in a small group classroom setting with a ratio of three students to two teachers.
This program is designed for children who would benefit from more intensive support in building foundational academic, learning and social skills.
This program runs for 12 months from September to August.

Our classrooms follow a mixed-age model, where students are grouped based on their skill sets, goals, academic and developmental levels, as well as age, to ensure an optimal learning environment for all.
Classroom placements are determined through our intake process, which begins with an initial intake phone call and also includes an in-person screening with our clinical team.
Tuition Fees
Our Clinical Supervisors are qualified OAP service providers - use your OAP funding at EXL!
Tuition fees for the 2024 - 2025 school year are as follows:
3:1 Classroom Placement - $2,850.00 per month
Program runs full time from September to June
9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. - Monday to Friday
3:2 Classroom placement - $3,675.00 per month
Program runs full time from September to August
9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. - Monday to Friday
